Chrome teapot No.19 is placed against a yellow background, with the spout pointing up left. The chrome reflecting elements of my studio around the middle.
The teapot is a part of a vintage teaset with a coffee pot and matching creamer and sugar bowl. The shape is fantastic I love the plain curves and the style of the black plastic handles and knobs, so they are an obvious choice of a standard home object to recreate in oil
These original small oil paintings were created over the second half of the summer 2026, around a slower painted series and are all 5x5inch (127x127mm). The teapot is painted pointing in 4 directions for each of the 6 background colours, given they where painted from life, there are elements which are different given they where painted on different days at different times of the day and as a result, the colours do not exactly match each other.
Framed in a simple black tray frame, the paintings on board are ready to hang.
These look great grouped together as a 3 or 4 of the teapot paintings and act as a colourful focal point in a room.
