Flowers on a checked tablecloth No.5 is an Original artwork which is a small oil painting detailing one of the glass jugs from the series.
 
The close-up view of the glass jug is a precise oil painting detailing a complex shape in cool tones contrast well against the cooler tones of the background.
 
This would work well as a companion piece to any of the Flowers on a Picnic Cloth series
 
I find it fascinating painting glass, the complexities in the distortions are a good challenge.
 
The 20x20cm painting is framed (see photos) and ready to hang
at approximately 24cm square and 2cm deep.
