Flowers on a checked tablecloth No.1 is an Original artwork which acts as a statement piece on the wall in any space.
 
The tulips painted (in Oils) at their brightest and at a larger than life scale contrast well against the cooler tones of the background.
 
Detail in the glass jug which holds the gently distorted flowers stems, showing the refraction and reflections  through the surface.
 
I wanted to paint the flowers at the point of living and current rather than with any sentimentality, these flowers are beautiful and they now become the memory, rather than being from it.
 
The 80x80cm painting is framed (see photos) and ready to hang
at approximately 84cm square and 4.5cm deep.
