Gift to Myself No.11 as an experiment on working over a dark ground, produced a painting with a different feel to the other Gift to Myself paintings in the series. The flowers still pop, but are balanced by the muted background.

The Gift to Myself series started in lockdown as a way to prolong the life of the flowers I was bringing into the house. This painting, created in 2022.
 
The painting will be posted unstretched rolled and bagged in a tube.
