Elements of Me No.2 was painted whilst looking at the option to create self portraiture which did not contain the self. The objects shown link back to me in some way.
The vase for the sunflowers is made of cardboard and shows my creative ability, the pattern in the background is similar to a set of curtains I made and particularly like and the patterned found paper attached around the paisley pattern, was wrapping paper from a gift.
Sunflowers were the seasonal choice to paint and remind me of summer like few other blooms.
 
This picture is a mixed media piece, on a 1x1 metre square deep edge canvas, photos showing the work in a room are for context only, the painting is unframed.
